Heartland Film Program Guides

While at Heartland Film, I was able to improve my layout and design skills by working on various program guides, guide books and schedules for the annual 11-day Heartland Film Festival and other year-round events. I participated in all phases of production: content gathering & organizing, image formatting, design implementation in InDesign, copy editing, and finally packaging the books for print.

2017 HFF Guide Book

For the 2017 Guide Book, I was in charge of the editorial content within the first half of the book (up to about page 73). I also assisted with image formatting, updating brand standards, copy editing, content gathering, and placing advertisements within the whole book.

2017 Cultural Journey Guide

For this program guide, I worked on the project from start to finish including original layout design, film content editing, overall copy editing, and print packaging.

2015 Summer Rewind Guide

For this program guide, I worked from an existing template to update brand colors and film content. I assisted with copy editing and packaging the mini-guide for print.
